Victorian Educational Poster: 'Peat, Coal & Coral'

This is a great old Victorian educational poster, produced by Chapman & Hill, Covent Garden, London. Part of a series entitled 'Diagrams of Terrestrial & Astronomical Objects & Phenomena' they are linen backed, measure 39" across by 29" dow, & roll around a wooden pole at the base. They are now, with the passage of time, very fragile, & there are cracks, damage & some loss, particularly to the tops of the posters, as can be seen from the photos. However, they are survivals that will look great framed, & are real collectors items.
